Aging Testing

Working with Clients for a Well-Designed Circuits of Power Adapter

Power supply starts from Circuit Design. 

From the beginning, our engineers keep their eyes on quality control.  They need to make sure the designed power supply satisfied customers’ function requirements, lifetime requirements, and safety(certification) requirements such as UL, CE, KC, and PSE……

Power supplies used for different products got different Quality and Certification requirements, let’s make EU market and CE as an example:

  • Cell phone chargers, laptop adapters, and PC power supplies must follow the safety requirements:
    • Provisions on wiring, physical requirements, electrical requirements, and marking instructions provided by IEC 61204-7 ;
    • Electromagnetic compatibility rating by IEC 61201-3;
    • Performance of low-voltage power supplies intended for DC applications provided by IEC 61204-6.
  • Battery chargers must follow safety requirements provided by IEC 60335-2-29.
  • Transformers must follow safety requirements for stationary and portable transformers provided by IEC 60989.

Certification Approval & Components Sourcing​

Our R&D and souring teams take control of all the requirements for Step 01 and step 02.

All incoming components and designs must fit the safety requirements so that we can get the required different Certifications for different markets from different Institutions.

SMT & DIP Components Assembly

Assembly includes SMT, DIP, reflowing, and case assembly, every step is important for a good quality power supply. We work at power supply for over 18 years, our workers bring careful, experience and technology to the power supply. Sample inspection and testing were done during every step.

Testing

What we did include comprehensive testing and aging testing before case assembly, function and safety testing after the case assembled.

  • Comprehensive testing:
    • load power
    • rate current
    • rate voltage
    • circuit connecting
  • Aging testing:
    • testing function during a long time working environment
    • if function changed during the high temperature
  • Function and safety testing:
    • after the aging testing processing to check if every function is still working well
    • current protection, voltage protection…
    • high voltage testing 

 

Package

Package it well and make sure can be shipped to customers’ hands safety.
